The Annapurna Siklis trek, starting from Pokhara at 2000m, offers breathtaking views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal, providing trekkers with an unforgettable mountain experience. Home to one of Nepal’s largest Gurung villages, this trek allows you to immerse yourself in the rich Gurung culture, local lifestyles, and traditional handicrafts. Highlights include cloth weaving and ancient water-driven flour mills that showcase the village’s history.

With fewer trekkers in the area, this trek offers a peaceful journey through terraced hills, vibrant flora and fauna, and soaring eagles. The route offers panoramic views of Machhapuchhare and Annapurna, while taking you through off-the-beaten-path trails, untouched forests, and high alpine routes used by shepherds. This trek guarantees a unique cultural experience, offering a captivating glimpse into authentic rural life in Nepal.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 04: Pokhara to Kalikasthan (1370m)

Detail Itenerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore the surrounding area. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

Explore Kathmandu’s World Heritage sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath (Shiva’s temple), Boudhnath, and Swoyambhunath.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (6-7 hours)

Choose between a tourist bus (7/8 hours with breaks), private car (5/6 hours), or a flight (30 minutes). Arrive at Pokhara Lakeside, transfer to your hotel, and enjoy some free time for exploring the area. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 04: Pokhara to Kalikasthan (1370m)

Take a 30-minute drive to Bijayapur Khola (Bijayapur Army Camp), the starting point of your trek. The route goes through rice fields, ascends through Rakhigaon, and gently climbs along a ridge to Kalikasthan.

Day 05: Kalikasthan to Lama Khet (1680m)

Trek through local villages and rice terraces to Mardi Khola, crossing Bhaise and Nawaldanda. Reach Lama Khet, a small village surrounded by lush hills. Overnight stay at a teahouse or camp.

Day 06: Lama Khet to Siklis (1980m)

Continue along a flat trail by the river bank until reaching Khilan Gaon, then gradually ascend to Siklis, one of the largest and oldest Gurung villages. Overnight stay at a teahouse or camp.

Day 07: Siklis to Neuli Kharka or Forest Camp (2200m)

Pass through rhododendron and oak forests on a gradual ascent. Reach Neuli Kharka or Forest Camp for an overnight stay.

Day 08: Forest Camp to Ghale Gaon (2000m)

Pass through more rhododendron forests as the trail descends steeply to Ghale Gaon, a small village mainly inhabited by Gurung and Magar communities. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 09: Ghale Gaon to Pokhara

The trail gently descends to Hyamgja (1070m), where a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Pokhara. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 10: Sightseeing tour in Pokhara

Start your day with an early sunrise view from Sarangkot. Visit popular attractions, including Devis Fall, World Peace Stupa, and enjoy boating on Lake Phewa.

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. If time allows, explore local markets and shops. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Departure to International Airport

Our vehicle will drop you off at Kathmandu International Airport for your departure.
