Day – 01 – Kathmandu Arrival and Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival, a representative and driver from our team will warmly welcome guests at the airport and escort them to their hotel or resort. The representative will assist with the check-in process and provide an overview of the planned activities. Guests will then have free time to explore the local area, immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Kathmandu, and enjoy the sights before relaxing for a comfortable overnight stay at their hotel or resort.
Day – 02 – Sightseeing around Kathmandu
The day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a sightseeing tour of several iconic attractions in Kathmandu. Guests will first visit Swoyambhunath, a nearly 2500-year-old site steeped in legend, believed to have been established by the Radiant Lotus after the valley was drained by Manjushri, the god of Wisdom. Next, the tour continues to Boudhanath, home to the world’s largest stupa, a prominent symbol of Tibetan Buddhist culture, and then to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, located along the Bagmati River. Revered as the holiest temple for Hindus and dedicated to Lord Shiva, it also serves as a site for Hindu cremation rites (Note: Non-Hindus are not permitted inside the temple). In the afternoon, guests will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl, and the Kumari Temple, where the living goddess resides. Day – 03 – Drive to Pokhara 6-7 hrs drive
After enjoying an early breakfast, guests will embark on a scenic drive lasting approximately 5 ½ to 6 hours, covering a distance of around 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu to reach Pokhara, the second-largest city in Nepal. Pokhara features a varied landscape, with altitudes ranging from 827 meters in the south to 1740 meters in the north. Located near the Annapurna Range, the city offers stunning views of three of the world’s ten highest peaks — Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Manaslu — which are situated within 15 to 35 miles from the valley. Due to its proximity to the Annapurna range, Pokhara is a popular base for trekkers embarking on the Annapurna Circuit. Upon arrival, guests will check into their hotel and have the evening free to explore the area and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The night will be spent in Pokhara, ensuring a tranquil and memorable stay.
Day – 04 – Pokhara Sightseeing
The sightseeing itinerary is thoughtfully crafted to cover several must-see attractions in Pokhara, while keeping in mind that it may not be possible to visit every location in a single day. The itinerary includes visits to the Old Bazaar of Pokhara city, Bindhyabasini Temple, Seti Gorge, a Buddhist monastery, Pokhara Regional Museum, Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, the Tibetan Refugee Camp, Barahi Temple, Sarankot, Peace Stupa, and a relaxing boating trip on Fewa Lake. One notable highlight is the Tal Barahi Temple, situated in the middle of Fewa Lake, which is accessible via a brief 10-minute boat ride. The peaceful ambiance and lush forest surrounding the southern end of the lake offer a serene retreat. At an elevation of 2195 meters, Nagarkot’s charm is constant throughout the year, with the months from November to March providing the clearest views. Upon arrival, guests will check into their hotel, and if they arrive before sunset, they may be able to enjoy the beautiful sight of the sun setting over the horizon. The night will be spent in Nagarkot, providing an unforgettable experience surrounded by the natural beauty of Nepal.
Day – 06 – Departure from Kathmandu
Start your day early by witnessing the sunrise at Nagarkot, where you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view that stretches from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. At an altitude of approximately 7500 feet, Nagarkot offers mesmerizing vistas, and on clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of the tip of Mount Everest. After this unforgettable experience, enjoy a scenic 35-kilometer drive back to Kathmandu Airport. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have the chance to stop by Thamel or explore other nearby attractions on your way to the airport. From there, continue your journey, carrying with you the unforgettable memories of the Himalayan sunrise and Nepal’s natural beauty.
