Pisang Peak

5 Days

Pisang Peak Climbing, standing at 6,091 meters, is a thrilling challenge for adventure seekers, offering both a technically demanding ascent and stunning views. Perfectly complementing the Annapurna Circuit trek, the climb starts from Besisahar and reaches Pisang in just five days. The expedition begins by establishing a base camp at 4,380 meters, followed by a High Camp at 5,400 meters on the South-West Ridge. Pisang Peak is known for its technical difficulty, involving a combination of climbing skills, such as navigating a hanging glacier and climbing steep rock slabs.

First ascended by a German expedition in 1955, Pisang Peak has since become a popular destination for mountaineers. The summit provides an awe-inspiring panorama of the Annapurna range, including Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II and IV, Ghangapurna, and the Glacier Dome. After reaching the peak, trekkers continue their journey through Manang, Thorong Pedi, and Thorong La Pass—the highest pass in the world—before descending to Jomsom. Along the way, trekkers will visit charming villages, experiencing the culture and beauty of the region. The adventure concludes with a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, leaving participants with a sense of accomplishment and unforgettable memories of the Himalayan wilderness.
