Chulu West Peak Climbing, at 6419 meters, offers one of Nepal’s most demanding climbing experiences for peaks below 6500 meters. This ascent is technically challenging and requires climbers to have significant prior experience, including skill in handling climbing equipment like crampons for snow and ice, as well as expertise in using fixed and dynamic ropes. Climbers must also be in excellent physical condition due to the technical nature of the climb, which involves navigating both rock and ice sections.

Situated in the Annapurna Region above the village of Manang, Chulu West Peak offers a thrilling and memorable climbing adventure. The summit rewards climbers with a spectacular panoramic view of the Himalayan range, stretching all the way into the remote Tibetan wilderness to the north. Surrounded by snow and ice, the peak provides stunning views of the Annapurna Range, including the iconic Machapuchare (Fishtail), all five Annapurna peaks (I-V), Gangapurna, and Dhaulagiri to the south. Additionally, the summit offers incredible views of Mount Manaslu, creating a truly awe-inspiring experience.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and Hotel transfer;

Day 02: Scenic drive 7hrs from Kathmandu

Day 03: Trek 6hrs from Besi Sahar to Bahundanda (1305m);

Day 04: Trek 6hrs from Bahundanda to Chyamche (1430m)

Day 05: Trek 6hrs from Chyamche (1410m.) to Dharapani (1860m);

Day 06: Trek 6hrs from Dharapani to Chame

Day 07: Trek 5hrs from Chame to Upper Pisang (3100m),;

Day 08: Trek 5hrs from Upper Pisang to Manang (3352m);

Day 09: Acclimatization and rest in Manang;

Day 10: Trek 6hrs from Manang to Lather (4250m.) ; camping

Day 11: Trek 6hrs from Lather to Chulu West base camp (4950m); tent camp

Day 12: Trek from base camp to High Camp (5600m); camping

Day 13: We do acclimatize here if we feel uncomfortable.

Day 14: This is our scheduled summit day; from the summit we will return to the Base Camp; camping

Day 15: We trek from Chulu west Base Camp to Lather (4500m.); Tea house accommodation or camping.

Day 16: Trek 6hrs from Lather, to Thorong Phedi (4450m); teahouse accommodation or camping.

Day 17: Trek 7hrs from Trong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong-La pass (5,416m); teahouse accommodation or camping.

Day 18: Trek 5hrs from Muktinath to Jomsom via Kagbeni(2895m); teahouse accommodation or camping.

Day 19: you take 20mins flight from Jomsom to Pokhara; hotel accommodation.

Day 20: We take 7hrs scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 21: free and explore day in Kathmandu; Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 22: Transfer to the airport for final departure, or alternative join other activities

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Hotel Transfer

Day 02: Scenic Drive to Besi Sahar (823m) – 7 Hours

Embark on a scenic 7-hour drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar. Along the way, enjoy stops to sample local dishes, adding a culinary adventure to the journey. Accommodation options include comfortable teahouses or a more immersive camping experience at Bhulbhule, allowing you to choose your preferred stay.

Day 03: Trek to Bahundanda (1305m) – 6 Hours

The trek begins with a 6-hour journey to Bahundanda, where you’ll catch glimpses of Manaslu along the way. Opt for teahouse accommodation or camping, offering flexibility to suit your preference while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Day 04: Trek to Chyamche (1430m) – 6 Hours

The 6-hour trek from Bahundanda to Chyamche takes you through subtropical landscapes in the Marsyangdi River Valley. Enjoy a choice of teahouse lodging or camping, allowing you to immerse yourself in the region’s lush environment.

Day 05: Trek to Dharapani (1860m) – 6 Hours

This 6-hour trek to Dharapani offers a diverse landscape experience. Choose between teahouse accommodation or camping, depending on your preferences for comfort or a closer connection to nature.

Day 06: Trek to Chame (2670m) – 6 Hours

Trek for 6 hours to reach Chame, with the option of staying in a teahouse or camping. This section offers beautiful landscapes and opportunities to experience the culture and natural beauty of the Annapurna region.

Day 07: Trek to Upper Pisang (3100m) – 5 Hours

The 5-hour trek to Upper Pisang allows trekkers to choose between a teahouse or camping accommodation. Enjoy breathtaking views and explore the cultural richness of the Annapurna region.

Day 08: Trek to Manang (3352m) – 5 Hours

Trek for 5 hours to reach Manang, where you can select between teahouse lodging or camping. The natural beauty and cultural heritage of this village enrich the trekking experience.

Day 09: Acclimatization Day in Manang

Spend the day acclimatizing in Manang to adjust to the higher altitude. Explore local attractions like monasteries, traditional architecture, and scenic surroundings to enrich your cultural experience.

Day 10: Trek to Lather (4250m) – 6 Hours

Embark on a 6-hour trek from Manang to Lather, with camping as the primary accommodation option. This part of the journey offers a deep immersion in nature and sets the stage for the next phase of the climb.

Day 11: Trek to Chulu West Base Camp (4950m) – 6 Hours

The 6-hour trek to Chulu West Base Camp brings you closer to the peak. With camping at the base camp, enjoy the remote wilderness of the Annapurna region and prepare for the upcoming climb.

Day 12: Trek to High Camp (5600m)

Trek from the base camp to High Camp, setting up camp for the night. This stage of the journey prepares you for the summit attempt by allowing for further acclimatization at a high altitude.

Day 13: Acclimatization Day at High Camp

If needed, use this day to acclimatize at High Camp. Rest and adjust to the altitude before the summit attempt, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the climb.

Day 14: Summit Day for Chulu West (6419m)

The summit day is dedicated to the challenging climb of Chulu West, standing at 6419 meters. After summiting, descend back to Base Camp and rest in your tents, reflecting on your achievement.

Day 15: Trek to Lather (4500m)

After the summit, trek back down to Lather, offering the option to stay in a teahouse or camp. This descent provides an opportunity to rest and enjoy the beauty of the region once more.

Day 16: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m) – 6 Hours

The 6-hour trek from Lather to Thorong Phedi offers the flexibility of choosing between teahouse lodging or camping. The journey continues through stunning landscapes, preparing for the high-altitude pass ahead.

Day 17: Trek to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong-La Pass (5416m) – 7 Hours

This challenging trek takes you over the Thorong-La Pass (5416m), one of the highest trekking passes. The trek to Muktinath offers flexibility in accommodation, with teahouse stays or camping options along the way.

Day 18: Trek to Jomsom (2800m) via Kagbeni – 5 Hours

The 5-hour trek from Muktinath to Jomsom passes through Kagbeni, offering trekkers the option of teahouse accommodation or camping. Enjoy the final stretch of the trek with views of the stunning landscapes.

Day 19: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara – 20 Minutes

Enjoy a scenic 20-minute flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, where you can relax in hotel accommodation and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this lakeside city.

Day 20: Scenic Drive to Kathmandu – 7 Hours

Return to Kathmandu via a scenic 7-hour drive, with several stops to savor local cuisine. Alternatively, a 25-minute flight is available for those who prefer a quicker return. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 21: Free Day in Kathmandu

Enjoy a free day to explore Kathmandu at your leisure. Immerse yourself in Nepalese culture, and in the evening, attend a cultural program and a farewell dinner to celebrate your successful adventure.

Day 22: Transfer to Airport for Final Departure
