Detail Itenerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arriving at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be escorted to your hotel in the city. A short orientation session will follow, where you’ll be briefed on essential formalities and given an overview of your Annapurna Round Trek itinerary. Depending on your arrival schedule, you can choose to relax or explore nearby attractions and sanctuaries.
Day 02: Sightseeing/Cultural Tour in Kathmandu Valley
After breakfast, set out on a guided tour to explore Kathmandu’s historical and spiritual landmarks. Highlights include World Heritage Sites such as Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous “Monkey Temple” (Swayambhunath), and Bouddhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Later in the day, attend a pre-trip meeting where you’ll meet your trek leader and team members and receive a detailed briefing about the adventure ahead. Enjoy an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Besi Shahar (830m)
After breakfast, your trekking guide will arrive at 7 a.m. to accompany you on a private transfer to Besi Shahar, located 185 kilometers away. The journey takes around six hours, offering stunning views of snow-capped mountains, lush green hills, winding rivers, and quaint villages along the way. Overnight stay will be at a guesthouse.
Day 04: Besi Shahar to Bahundanda (1430m)
On your first day of trekking, you’ll immerse yourself in Nepal’s rich cultural diversity, passing traditional local homes and exchanging greetings with various ethnic communities. The trail takes you through subtropical forests and terraced rice fields, leading to Khudi (840m), where you’ll marvel at a stunning 60-meter waterfall near Bhulbule. From there, the path ascends to Bahundanda, a charming ridge-top village at 1,300 meters. The trek takes approximately 7 hours.
Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1410m)
Begin the day with a descent along a steep, slippery trail through scenic rice terraces, passing by a small hot spring along the way. The trek features several river crossings, cascading waterfalls, and a challenging 200-meter climb near Jagat. After about 6 hours of trekking, arrive at Chamje for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m)
Climb 940 meters through lush bamboo and rhododendron forests, enjoying the serene natural beauty along the way. Your destination is Bagarchap, the first village showcasing traditional Tibetan architecture. The trek takes approximately 7 hours.
Day 07: Bagarchhap to Chame (2170m)
Follow the south bank of the river, crossing a suspension bridge while soaking in breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. After approximately 6 hours of trekking, arrive at Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, for your overnight stay.
Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3190m)
Start by passing through the older part of Chame and ascending to Telekhu. From there, trek through serene forests to reach Brathang. Along the way, marvel at your first glimpse of the impressive Paungda Danda rock face. Continue onward to Pisang, which marks the beginning of the upper Manang district. The trek takes approximately 5 hours.
Day 09: Pisang to Manang (3540m)
Trek towards the Tibetan-style village of Bryaga, then continue through an arid landscape characterized by striking yellow rock cliffs. After approximately 5 hours, you will reach Manang, where you can restock on supplies and take a well-deserved break.
Day 10: Manang rest
Take a rest day in Manang to help your body acclimatize to the higher altitudes and thinner air. This is a great opportunity to relax and wash your clothes, preparing for the next stage of your trek.
Day 11: Manang to Letdar (4250)
Trek upwards to Letdar, traversing areas of scrub juniper and alpine grass. Along the way, enjoy the sight of blue sheep grazing on the steep slopes. The trek takes approximately 4.5 hours.
Day 12: Letdar to Thorang Phedi(4450m) or Thorang High Camp(4925m)
Gradually acclimate to the higher altitude with a trek to Thorang Phedi, a rock-strewn meadow nestled among cliffs at 4,450 meters. The trek takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Day 13: Thorang Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorang La Pass (5416m)
Start early, before sunrise, for a long trek to reach Thorang La Pass by 9:00–10:00 a.m. At the pass, take in stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Afterward, descend to Muktinath, completing the journey in about 9 hours.
Day 14: Muktinath to Jomsom (2665m)
Retrace your steps along the Jomsom trek, descending through meadows, streams, and fruit orchards towards Kagbeni. Continue your journey down the Kali Gandaki Gorge, eventually reaching Jomsom.
Day 15: Jomsom to Pokhara
Take an early morning flight to Pokhara, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, enjoy a day at your leisure—consider relaxing with a massage, exploring local sights, or enjoying a peaceful boat ride on the lake.
Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive for around seven hours from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner accompanied by a cultural show.
Day 17: Final Departure
As the last day of the trip, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
