Guests can explore a range of options, from visiting historic landmarks and bustling markets to savoring Kathmandu’s diverse culinary scene. Day 2: Drive to Chitwan 5-6 hrs drive
In the early morning, after a delightful breakfast, we will bid farewell to Kathmandu and set off on a scenic journey toward Chitwan National Park. Along the way, guests can opt for an unforgettable whitewater rafting experience, combining moments of calm drifting with adrenaline-pumping rapids. This thrilling adventure, lasting 3-4 hours, concludes at the picturesque village of Mugling Bazaar.
After the rafting excursion, we will continue our drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, guests will check in at the hotel and prepare for an enchanting Tharu village tour. This immersive experience provides a glimpse into the vibrant culture and traditions of the local Tharu community, setting the tone for the adventures awaiting in Chitwan.
Day 3: Explore Chitwan National Park full day
Chitwan National Park, once a royal hunting reserve, is situated in the lush lowlands of Nepal’s Terai region. Celebrated for its incredible biodiversity, the park is a sanctuary for some of the world’s rarest wildlife species and a haven for native and migratory birds.
Our adventure begins with an enchanting bird-watching tour, offering a chance to marvel at the park’s rich avian diversity. After a hearty lunch, we will continue our journey southward to the plains of Nepal, arriving at Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. The heart of Lumbini is its serene sacred garden, home to the historic Maya Devi Temple and the iconic Ashoka Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC. Day 5: Drive to Pokhara; 6-7 hrs drive
Early in the morning, after enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a picturesque drive to Pokhara. Located 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu at an altitude of 827 meters above sea level, Pokhara is renowned as one of Nepal’s most stunning destinations. Its charm is further elevated by the serene beauty of its lakes—Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa—creating a tranquil and picturesque ambiance that captivates every traveler.
Day 6: Drive to Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We’ll start the day early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayas from Sarangkot, perched at an altitude of 1,500 meters. For those seeking adventure, this spot also offers the thrilling opportunity to paraglide over Pokhara’s stunning lake city, an experience that blends exhilaration with unparalleled views.
After returning to the hotel and enjoying a hearty breakfast, we’ll set out on a city tour, visiting highlights such as the cascading David’s Fall, the enchanting Gupteshwor Cave, and the culturally rich Tibetan Refugee Camp. The day will conclude with a relaxing overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara, ensuring a restful evening after an eventful day.
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara 7-8 hrs
After breakfast, we’ll set off on a scenic overland journey back to Kathmandu in a comfortable coach, with the drive taking approximately six hours. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel, where the evening is yours to enjoy as you please. Whether you choose to explore local markets for some family shopping or simply relax in the comfort of your hotel room, the time is yours to unwind and reflect on the journey.
Day 8: Drive to Nagarkot 1 hour drive
We’ll begin our day with a visit to the magnificent Swayambhunath Stupa, perched atop a hill in the western part of Kathmandu. Often referred to as the “Monkey Temple,” this iconic site offers sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley below. After exploring the stupa, we’ll continue our journey to the medieval city of Bhaktapur, a treasure trove of medieval art and architecture. The main square is home to several awe-inspiring structures, including the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the Golden Gate, the Palace of 55 Windows, the Batsala Temple, and the fascinating Bell of the Barking Dogs.
As the day comes to a close, we’ll travel to Nagarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2,175 meters. From this elevated vantage point, on a clear day, you can catch a glimpse of the towering Mt. Everest in the distance. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Nagarkot, taking in the serene beauty and tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu
We’ll rise early to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise, as the Himalayan peaks are bathed in shades of fiery red, stretching from the majestic Kanchanjunga and Everest in the east to the towering Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After soaking in this breathtaking view, we’ll enjoy a hearty lunch before beginning our journey back to Kathmandu.
In the afternoon, our explorations continue with a visit to the historic Patan Durbar Square, situated in the southern part of the city. Here, we’ll be surrounded by a wealth of ancient palaces, temples, and shrines, each adorned with intricate carvings that reflect the rich cultural and architectural heritage of Nepal.
Day 10: Final departure to your own country
You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of an unforgettable experience in Nepal.
